A philological study o poisining and side effects of Asari Herba Cum Radice(á¬ãô)

Abstract

|
Asari Herba Cum Radice is in use in the Korean medicine. The Korean medical doctors use Asari Herba Cum Radice for expelling wind and clearing away cold(Ëäù¦ß¤ùÎ), alleviating pain(ò÷Ô), warming the lung to reduce watery phlegm(è®øËûùëæ), etc. We investigated toxicity, poisoning symptoms, side effects, poisoning treatment and prevention against poisoning of Asari Herba Cum Radice. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The main ingredients of poisoning are essential oil, etc. The ingredients of poisoning from Asari Herba Cum Radice mainly can cause stimulating symptoms on nervous system, cardiovascular system, digestive system, urinary system, and respiratory system, etc. 2. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in the Korean medicine take advantage of herbs, such as Phaseoli Radiati Semen(ÖàÔç), Glycyrrhizae Radix(Êöõ®), drugs for clearing away heat and eliminating toxin(ôèæðú°Ô¸å·), etc. And the Korean medical doctors should treat with acupucture and meet symptoms as patients call for attention. 3. The representative methods in poisoning treatments in the western medicine are promoting vomiting, washing out the stomach, causing diarrhea, supplies of grape sugar and taking an antidote for poison from Asari Herba Cum Radice, etc. And the medical doctors should meet symptoms as patients call for attention. 4. In order to prevent against poisoning of Asari Herba Cum Radice, the patients should keep usage, dosage and notes.
